Gospel singer, Beatrice Mbugua aka Betty Bayo who is expectant with her second child, held her baby shower at the Well of Worship Centre in Massachusetts, a few days ago.

Many of us came to know about the baby shower this after stumbling upon a poster inviting people to attend the occasion on social media.

“Let us support our sister, daughter, friend and favorite gospel artiste,” the poster read in part. Apparently, the Betty’s estranged husband, ‘Prophet’ ‘Dr’ Victor Kanyari, who was dumped by the former after he was accused of

performing fake miracles and swindling his congregants, is not responsible for the singer’s pregnancy.

Speaking to Heads Up, Kanyari said that he learnt about the baby shower just like we all did. He went on to say that he was not aware that Betty was expecting a child.

However, the televangelist remains optimistic that one day things will change for the better.
